Dear Friends,

As you consider treatment for alcoholism or another addiction for yourself or for your loved one, you may feel alone and fearful. As you search for answers, you may feel ashamed, alienated or detached. At Renaissance, we understand these feelings. And we are dedicated to helping you or your loved one return to the basic truth that was articulated so thoughtfully by Mahatma Gandhi: "The divine guidance often comes when the horizon is the blackest."

For many years I pondered a dream: to create a holistic residential healing center devoted to the treatment of individuals who suffer from alcoholism and other addictions. In an environment of beauty and serenity a community of devoted professionals would encircle a group of recovering addicts and alcoholics in a circle of hope and wonder. I envisioned a world-class staff which would rank among the greatest in the industry of treatment and recovery.

This approach would eventually become the Renaissance Experience, employing both traditional and innovative modalities to create and maintain the highest standards of quality care and client satisfaction.

I have witnessed miracles on a daily basis at Renaissance, as our clients begin to experience the most important gift of sobriety: the promise of joy in recovery. At RENAISSANCE MALIBU, we leave the ravages of alcoholism and other drug addictions behind, and we are delivered to a spiritual awakening of renewal and rebirth.
